Love, the norm for Christian Life

The first reading from Exodus explains that the chosen people of Israel should remember that God had saved them in His everlasting love. Therefore they must hold him above every other object and show love and concern for His people. In the second reading, St Paul says: as they were in service of the ‘living and true God’ the community of Thessalonians give testimony to the reign of God.

We continue to expand the range of product in our gift shop which relates to or echoes the art and architecture of the Cathedral. Recent such editions are glass roundels which replicate in glass images, typically mosaics which can be seen in the Cathedral. The image of Our Lady of Walsingham which adorns the side of the pulpit in the Cathedral is a good example of this.
